Leadership unhappy home

I have discussed in earlier articles the importance of how a dog should be a member and not a leader of a pack, can you imagine as a parent being restrained verbally and physically and watching your young child cross a busy road and not being able to do anything but watch. If you give your dog full leadership of your home and allow it to behave exactly how it wants too, then your dog will grow up believing that they rule the roost. That means that you are their responsibility. So when you just leave the house, to go to the shop, to work etc and you abandon the leader, with no permission the leader then has no control, which creates stress and anxiety, which then results as what we humanoids happen to refer to as bad or unacceptable behavior. Should the humanoids happen to be aware of this when they first bought the cute little puppy into their home, they could have saved their dogs and themselves a lot of unnecessary grief. I believe in my heart that a dog that doesn’t have the responsibility of taking care of the family is happier. This does not mean that the dog will not protect the family if need be, in fact as a loyal pack member a dog would give his life to serve and protect those within their pack.
